Report an error

If a fee, hour count, exam, renewal rule or link on this site does not match the board's current page, write to [email protected] with the page address, what is wrong and, if you can, the official page that shows the right value. Board staff and license holders are especially welcome to write.

What helps us check quickly

  • The address of the page on this site and the credential level (for example journeyman or master) you are writing about.
  • The value you believe is right and where the board publishes it: a link to the board page, rule or fee schedule.
  • If the board changed a rule recently, the date it took effect.

What happens next

  • We re-open the official source and any page you sent.
  • If the source confirms the report, we correct the record, re-run the second check for that value and rebuild the page. Its "Last checked" date moves to the day of the check.
  • If two official sources disagree, we hold the value back until the board settles it, rather than guess.
  • Significant corrections, such as a wrong fee or requirement that was live on a page, are listed below with the date and what changed.

What we cannot help with

We cannot change, speed up or check the status of an application, renewal or complaint, and we cannot tell you whether a board will accept your training or your license from another state. Only the board can. Each occupation page links the board's own application, renewal and contact pages, so you can write to the right office.

Corrections log

No corrections to published pages have been needed since the site launched. Rule changes made by the boards themselves are not corrections; they are listed on what changed.
