How to get an Insurance producer license in Arizona
Arizona licenses insurance agents statewide through the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions (DIFI).1 For the Insurance producer (resident individual) license you need a passing score on the Arizona insurance examination for each line of authority (administered by PSI)2 and a criminal background check3. The board lists $120 for the initial license2. You renew every 4 years2 and complete at least 48 hours of continuing education2.
